FIT GIRLS LIFT is our infamous Ladies only Learn to Train using Weights Programme.
If you want to get LEAN and STRONG weight lifting is the key! With these practical hands on sessions we will give you the technique and confidence to train in any free weights/weight lifting or commercial gym environment, at any level. We will introduce you to all the basic lifting techniques including Squats, Deadlifts, Pull Ups & Push Ups, teach you how to lift safely and with good form, let you experience the different types of equipment & weights that you can use to get lean and strong, and build up a toolkit of different training methods for you to programme your own workouts. No previous experience necessary, designed for all levels of Fitness.

Who is the FGL Weekend Workshop designed for?
You are new to lifting with free weights (not machines) using barbells, kettlebells and dumbbells and training for strength.
You are bored of cardio based classes or running to try and get your body in shape, you're constantly getting injured, and you want to feel strong and lean. You want to learn how to lift weights properly so that you can train with confidence and feel like you are getting results. However you don't know where to start when it comes to lifting weights and you are worried that your technique isn't good enough. You find that you hold back or ‘cop out’ of lifting heavy for fear of injuring yourself. You find the weights room intimidating as it’s full of grunting men and you rarely see women in there on a regular basis. When you’ve asked at your gym about “proper” weight training you’ve been given a blank look or pointed in the direction of the PTs. You may have had bad experiences with personal trainers in the past who’ve grazed around the weights machines or just haven’t listened to you. It seems like there’s no-one in your gym who can help you or who understands what you want. There must be other weight training beginners who know how you feel – but where are they?!
What is FGL?
A workshop that is specifically designed to teach weight training for women - from absolute beginners, to girls that already lift but want to get stronger, or maybe you want to improve your form or technique. A programme that teaches you exactly how to lift free weights with good technique, teaches you the fundamentals to basic quality movement and effective training.
What will we expect to do over the course of the workshop?
Through a mix of theory and practical lifting sessions, we will show you how to make progress in your training by getting stronger, leaner and fitter, give you feedback on your technique & form to allow you to lift with confidence and get excellent results from your gym sessions in an all girl environment.
